Recently had some free time and decided to check some new PC game. Well ... new is not the right adj for Sacred. It is a Diablo-like quest. I think they call them Hack&Slash game or something like that
Under Slackware 11 (not latest) with package version of Wine the game installs perfectly but unfortunately does not start the actual game. At the Wine site I found:

where is said that game version 1.8.26 with Wine version 0.9.47 game works well, so - I had to experiment a bit. I upgraded Wine to version "wine-0.9.51" for slack 12 but wine works just fine (except some minor bugs maybe because of some dependencies broken ...) plus a NoCD Crack (keep it secret ). The crack was important because there was a bug with the dialog asking you to insert the CD - it did not show up.
So now I enjoy the world of vampires and seraphims. Now all I need is a nice icon for the panel launcher

Добре написан с ясна документация и върши чудеса за хора на който не им се занимава да генерират картинки в админ частта на сайтовете си. Плюс това прави мигрирането и "скин"-ване на сайта доста лесно, тъй като не се налага да се генерират купища ненужни картинки. Има даже опции, който намирам за пълна "изгъзица" само за да покажат колко са добри, но като цяло идеята е чудесна и реализацията е на ниво.
